Those people are right. After all, Americans don’t want to spend their time reading quality works or classics! They want something new, something edgy… something unintellectual. We don’t have time to use our minds; we only have time for three things: food, couches, and instant gratification.

Grammar, books, and actual education are obviously lower priorities. After all, we didn’t get our new “average” educational rating by reading, writing, or doing math. No!
